attended my cousin's wedding last sat. it was so posh im sure dey din onli spent a bomb on it. but TWO bombs. was at swissotel de stamford and de effects dey had were great! such as de love songs played and de colourful lightings and de romantic atmosphere created by de huge roses on each table. and of cos v prompt and professional service frm de staff. so all these make up for de not-too-nice food. in fact i tot de food was a lil worse den average. de dishes were special but de standard wasnt dere. anyways. my cousin was reali pretty tt nite! wowww. and she was sooo nervous though her hubby had a grin on his face de entire night like he got de best trophy in de world. =) totally sweeeet. hope dey will be en en ai ai!!
sth whacked against de window of our office dis morn. Mr Uncle (my colleague la!) went to check things out and came back wif a kingfisher in his hands!
de kingfisher whacked against de glass and got stuck in btwn de grilles of de drain. ='( so he picked it up and brought it back to de office. de kingfisher just sat in his palm, panting and looking like he concussed. his feathers were reali pretty and colourful! dere was a small patch of blue and another small patch of dark purple and de rest are yellow-golden feathers! and it's just a baby kingfisher. barely full-grown at all. after resting in de office for 2 hrs. it finally got better and can struggle abit. so Mr Uncle asked me to bring it out to de open and return it to its home. when i brought it out. it sat on my palm for 5 mins refusing to move. eventually it flew towards de trees happily. tt's de best thing to see really. =)
