though i was alone, and have no idea how the principal looked like beforehand, i enjoyed the programs. the 1st item was by the symphonic band. they played "yue liang dai biao wo de xin" and "rong shu xia", cos the principal loves the songs!
then 2 guys and a keyboard player from the choir performed "if we hold on together". that song instantly led me back to sec 3 cedar outdoor adventure camp, cos it was played several times during the campfire on the last night of the camp. gee, the song made me so nostalgic. now we lead remotely different lives.
lastly it was the dance club, which performed a mixture of cha-cha, ramba, rock&roll, etc. sizzling hot!
towards the end, we sang auld lang syne, and waved the lightsticks in our hands. when i looked arnd the convention hall, colourful lightsticks dotted the hall, and made such a beautiful sight. i was quite touched at that moment, and i think the principal was too. =)
