feeling: kinda tired of xmas alr.
helping out at the xmas party @ bukit batok was hell of a tiring. my back still aches from moving those heavy stuff. that's for lacking regular exercise. damn it.
spotted a xmas tree inside the CC! yayy.
we started decorating and preparing the place in the aftn.
there was intermittent rain since the party started at 7pm, and carrying out duties got inconvenient. the fussy residents certainly didnt help in the situation, so the in-charges of the event got a lil short-tempered.
there was this female i/c who kinda ruined my mood at the party. she was quite a bitch alr during the decorations and preparation of the venue, and worsened during the actual event. we are volunteers who offered our help, though it was to fulfill a school module. we spent 17 hrs individually in total, when we only required 7hrs. we do not owe the organisation anything, nor are we paid. why do we have to take their black faces?
sighs. maybe i just dun have the volunteerism spirit in me. i rather donate blood. too bad i dun even have enough blood for myself.
worst of all, i didnt win any prizes!! not even some stupid blenders. the 1st prize was 4D3N Bangkok tour package for two. damn, and i was alr imagining to myself during the lucky draw, that i'd bring Mr Bear along, and what we gonna be doing over there......... =(
