i have registered for my GEM(General Elective Modules). it is an additional module for all SP-ians across, to be exposed to 4 modules not within your own field of learning, in the 3 yrs of study. meaning, me as a Life Science student, get to take modules from Arts & Humanities, and Business.

didnt manage to get into my 1st three choices, guess they were too HAWT. or i was too slow. and i didnt KIV more than 3 choices, so due to the time constraint, i simply scrolled down the long list and chose the first one that caught my eye.

and yeps, i got a seat in tt module. and very ironically, i mentioned here a few wks ago, that i thought it is quite sucky.

Introduction to Human Resource Practices.

"Key topics include human resource development, recruitment and selection, grievance and discipline procedures, performance appraisal and the Employment Act."

lame anot la, you tell me? just left my temp placement in the HR dept, and here i am, adding a HR-based module in sch.

i registered for it, with the mentality that i wont get a seat cos the classes are probably filled. then, i saw the holy line:

"Class has been registered successfully".

hmmm...

nvm la, shall try out the module and convince myself that HR aint as bad as i thought. at least if there's anything im not sure with, got ppl to ask. right, Stef? hahaha!
