03rd: our 2nd anniversary.
10th: Shanice's vaccination.
11th: Shanice turns 18 months!
22nd: audit.
26th: course at AVA Day One.
30th: course at AVA Day Two.
another of our hse's baby is gone. no more loud noises from running the hamster wheel in the middle of the night. looking at her past photos did i realise, she lost almost half her body mass towards old age.
that morning, i took a peek at WangWang in her cage, and saw her gasping for breath unnaturally. then i knew it wld be her last day with us. she was in so much pain, but i cldnt alleviate any of it. i cld only hope tt my Mom wld return from the market asap. when she came home, i told her to take a look at WangWang. her face turned pale and said, "she died..?" i replied, "nope, but in quite abit of pain alr." so she went to the cage, and her face was so downcast, i didnt know what to say.
then she put the cage on our balcony floor, near the window. i was wondering what she was doing, and she said, "to let WangWang see the light, so she can go towards it peacefully."
my heart just sank lorr.
then my Mom heard squeaky sounds from WangWang cos she was panting harder. my Mom cldnt take it, so she walked away.
i sat beside the cage, and told WangWang she can leave peacefully, and that all of us love her alot. she'd get to meet ZhuZhu and new friends at her new home, and have endless corn and veggies. i knew she was waiting for my Mom to return home, to see her for the last time.
then i had to leave hse, so i took a long look at WangWang, and said my last gdbye to her.
called my Mom 3hrs ltr to ask abt WangWang, and she said WangWang left liao, and was very pitiful, struggling in the cage from all the pain. den she started sobbing into the phone.
wahh, didnt know how to console her. she was very upset and crying so hard.
then my turn liao lor. i hung up the phone, and started crying too.
