what better ways to celebrate the end of the torturous week, than to continue celebrating my BIRTHDAY?! haha. yes, im still in the midst of bday celebrations after 24 days.
met up with Jialong & Jiawei, and we had dinner at Shokudo @ Raffles City.
the concept is similar to Marche, where you're given sort of a credit card. after placing ur order at the stalls, they will record the item to the card. then you return the card during payment and they'd charge accordingly.
we had Salmon Cheese Maki! it's my FIRST time eating fish roe. i just cldnt resist the salmon wrapped in there!
the Chicken Burger Set. it's scarily HUGE, so it might be a bad choice if you intend to try the other goodies in the restaurant too.
Carbonara!! the cream is nice, but the spaghetti was a little undercooked, so it was not springy enough.
Teppanyaki Chicken Leg. it's nice too, but a lil overpriced. =/
and the best dish of the night: Ham & Cheese Omelette! the cooking time and temperature was well-controlled, and the omelette is PERFECT. it's very smooth and soft! goshh, i cld eat tens of it.
my Green Tea! it tastes of Chinese Tea though. the kind you get in Chinese restaurants. and according to Jialong, it costs $3.50......
a shot of everyone! our smiles were quite plastic, cos the server took 10secs to adjust and press the shutter eventually. but her service was fantastic, so thumbs-up for her!
