Day One

woke up at 515am. it was HELLISH. met Stef at my dead-quiet void deck at 6am, and Stef's man fetched us to Lavender. yayy, Mazda 6, loves!

boarded the Transtar coach arnd 640am.

the coach finally set off for the customs at 7am!

man, i hate the customs. got to carry all the barang-barang up & down the coach. my barang-barang were heavy and bulky, and the stairs in the coach were very challenging.

anw, we eventually reached Genting Highlands at 2pm. took our queue number for check-in, and realised there are 242 rooms checking-in before us.

but it's expected, with the huge crowds at the bus terminal and check-in counter. people, people everywhere.

we were basically stranded with our luggages, so off we went for lunch @ Marrybrown. 2 sets of 2-pc chicken + fantastic fries + pepsi for only RM17! meaning approx S$3.50 for 1 set. look at how much we're paying for KFC in S'pore! really kena tok.

P.S: exchange rate => S$1:RM2.40

and back to being stranded at check-in counter.

finally we got a room at 5pm, after 3hrs of waiting.

look Boy, i brought ur backpack along!

1st thing to do upon check-in: get our daily drug dosage, tea.

took a quick shower and off we went in search for dinner. haha we're ever-hungry. Stef brought me to Bakery, a cafe right beside Hotel Highlands. we had Hot Chocolate, Fruit Tart, and Chicken Pie. all these for RM39! (approx S$8/pax) the Hot Choc wld have easily cost more than $6 in S'pore.

we sat outdoors, in the freaking cold wind tt nv once stopped blowing. so our Hot Chocs and other foods were barely hot for long. but the pretty sights and nice cars were enough to offset the cold wind we had to endure. =)

and while indoors, we spotted Mr Bear's friend! albeit he had a lil junk in his tummy, and ciggie butts on his head.

and Boy, i saw your SHE there too! and i brought Hebe's palms back for you. happie anot?! =D her fingers quite short & fat though. HAHAHA.

the theme park in the night.

went back to hotel, bathed and prepared for early bedtime arnd 12am, cos we were gg to haf a loooong 2nd day.

even though the bed was very shiok, i cld barely get to slp, cos im sensitive to foreign locations. half the time i was watching melayu tv programmes, and making sure Stef did not kick me down the bed. MWAHAHA.

stay tuned for our tiring but extremely thrilling Day Two!
