hello ppl, im back from the warzone, still alive & kicking. Mid-sem Tests are over! yippie. =) i thought i might die at my study-table 1 of the nights, but i emerged a SURVIVOR.

and this means my 3-week holidays have officially started. BUT... as i've said, i've only got 3 precious weeks. yet the pile of stuff to complete is sky-high!

on top of these assignments, ive got abt 9 dramas pending to watch, a class chalet, and many more meet-ups with my precious ppl.

WHERE GOT TIME?!

sighs.

anw, after the last paper on Friday evening, Birdie, Boy and i went for dinner at MOF @ Marina Sq. wahh, regretted it. i've been raving abt MOF, but the Marina Sq outlet was a disappointment. the service crew was not serious at work, and the food is definitely incomparable with Bugis Junction outlet. =( the main dishes were so-so, the karaage were very "tanned", and the salmon sashimi was... i dont even haf a word for it.. tasteless?...

furthermore, ive been craving for sashimi the whole week because:

1) i was studying for Envt Studies paper, and read that the Exxon Valdez oil spill destroyed billions of salmon eggs, and of cos other marine life. i was thinking to myself, i cld haf eaten billion more plates of salmon sashimi!

2) i was studying for Food Microbio paper, and it mentioned a foodborne bacteria, Salmonella typhi. you know, SALMON-ella. ahhhh!

therefore, ive been looking fwd to the end of the freaking papers to dash down for my sashimi, but to my alas! the one i had tt night was even worse than Sakae Sushi's.

SIGHS.

anw, here's the food that night:

not forgetting my horrifying sashimi.

they cldnt even do a simple item as the Chicken Karaage well. the darkness of the chicken skin indicates that the oil cld haf been there since the 19th century.

oops, didnt realise i ranted so much over a dinner. im a nice girl usually. okie, maybe sometimes.

but yayy, now i finally got the time to pick up the Cleo magazine i bought 3 weeks ago. although it's a little outdated.

enjoy your well-deserved hols, people! =)

if you knew it wld be the last time,
wld you treasure it more?
