been an intern for 2 days alr, and for the 2 days, Bird & i go home smelling like a block of cheese.
no choice, the entire place is sooo filled up with the cheese smell tt it is hard for our clothes to escape the cheesy fate.
so far so good over there i guess. the ppl are normal, just a lil too solemn. cos everyone of us in the production line is dressed in:
a 2-pc production uniform w hoodie
hair net
sanitary mask
goggles
since everyone is almost wrapped up from head-to-toe, they dun really tend to talk at work, making the place a lil dead. =( i dun like.
when we were brought arnd to be introduced to the rest, all i see were more and more pairs of eyes. so im still having some tough times matching names to the eyes.
what i dun like:
washing hands 10 times a day
wearing the production uniform
sharing locker w Bird
the lack of S'poreans
walking 15 mins to company building
starting work at 730am
what i like:
the constant smell of melted cheese
wearing shorts & slippers to work
the nice ppl who nv fail to smile at me
performing microbial analysis on samples
30-min bus journey
leaving for home at 430pm
Bird & i havent got the chance to take a pic of ourselves cos handphones are banned actually. but we've decided we will sneak a photo one fine day. =)
i haf to report to work tmr at 730am instead of the usual 830am, cos both of us will be having diff shifts. she'll be remaining as 830am for the time being. sighs, just kill me. doubt i can wake up at 520am!
ARGHH.
