Shredded Cheese is still on MC today! damn it, so angry with myself. it's a loooong story of me falling ill so suddenly.
to begin with, i had been coughing for 2 months straight. i know tt is abit kua zhang, but it was intermittent so i didnt bother to visit a doc.
last sat, Mr Bear got pissed off with my nv-ending cough and pushed me into a clinic @ CCK. the doc said ive got bacterial infection, so tt explains the "nagging cough", as what he called it. dispensed me with cough syrup & 5-days worth of antibiotics. he instructed tt i am to return for an X-ray of my lungs if i dun recover after the antibiotics. sounds scary.
so i took the medicine and went to slp. theoretically i shld get better right?
NO!
at least not totally right. yes my cough DID go away, but i woke up the next morn with fever & sore throat instead. and i cldnt even talk! i cld only croak. like a frog, but worse. out-of-tune tt kind. and my whole body was aching like hell.
tt is what you call PANIC.
after half a day, i got back my human voice, but the fever still comes and goes repeatedly. the highest temp i reached was 38.8 deg C. the whole day i felt like a flat pc of Cheddar cheese, very floaty and light.
visited the doc @ Hg Point on Mon to get MC and also to check out what's happening to me. obviously sth is wrong right?
she says i got TWO diff infections. one is the cough which is recovering, but at the same time i kena another infection which gave me the sore throat and fever. she says since they are diff symptoms altogether, it means they are diff infections.
wow, how suay is that.
i didnt believe her words totally, though. sounds a lil unbelievable to me. =X
anyhow, i visited her just to get the 2 days MC, and she also dispensed me medicine for my inflammed throat.
so my table was sprawled with 5 diff types of medicine, including 2 for the fever tt refused to subside. for the past 3 days, i ate medicine as though they were my staple diet.
anyways, im feeling alot better now, just a lil coughing occasionally, but the fever has not returned so far. yayys!
so Bird, i promise to report for work tmr! dun tickle me pls!
i need you like a heartbeat.
