okie back to my ITP. =)

basically the place is made up of Singaporeans (the 3 main races), Malaysians, Chinese, Japanese, and previously a Philipino too. imagine the number of languages with different accents we hear at one time.

and even though Singaporeans, Malaysians and Chinese are speaking to each other in the same language which is Mandarin, we cant even understand each other totally!

Bird & I also experienced the occasional "paranormal" events while in the company, which makes life a whole load more thrilling.......

anyway, both of us mainly spent our time:
1) discussing FYP matters
2) memorising song lyrics
3) listening & singing to songs
4) shopping online
5) inventing nicknames for others
6) and playing stupid games.

eventually, we came up with a long list of nicknames for colleagues and even random people, like a fellow SP guy who was also on attachment at a company nearby. hiahia.

but the ultimate has got to be:

our handmade poker cards.

tt was how bored/free/talented we were! and that set of cards lasted us through the last week of attachment. we are soooo grateful for it. =)

i learned something in the short stay, which may be in contrary to the impression some of you may have:

China ppl can be very gentlemanly, courteous, helpful and hardworking;
S'poreans can be very bastard to fellow S'poreans, and have the worst manners.

im glad i learned this point.

it reminds me never to stereotype by nationality, but to look at the person as who he/she is.

anyway, we got small presents for the 2 people who were really sweet to us. =)

and also our "cock-eye panda" Thank You card to the company. hahaha.

so proud of my freakingly neat words, and our ability to come up with ultra-cheesy lines like "Thanks for all the wonderful memories". we even said Thank You in 4 languages! we're not in a cheese company for nothing. =D

and the other memories.....

i had mixed feelings at the end of the attachment period.

i love slacking with Bird, having nothing to do in particular, and the biggest worry being not knowing what to have for lunch.

but there are some people that we cannot stand for even a day longer. feel like smashing their faces into a steel door.

never mind, we emerged as survivors. that is all that matters! =)

0230am. maybe i shld start packing for school already.
it's alright, ive got the whole night.
