listening to: Ashanti - Only You

so all 5 of us were up in the mountains over the weekend. =)))

Papa Yeo had been looking forward for the entire family to be out of town together, cos it had been reaaaaaaally hard to gather everyone with all the busy schedules.

and Mama Yeo secretly told me he was so excited that he cldnt get to sleep the night before. HAHAHA! he is so ke ai.

so they picked me up at 1pm after my kindergarten event, den we set off straight through Malacca & KL. once we reached M'sia highway, Papa Yeo maintained a constant speed of 140 kph, occasionally hitting 190 kph. fun! he look so shuai driving so fast AND looking at Mama Yeo when she was talking. weee!~

then midway up the mountains, we dropped to catch the sunset, admire the flowers, and enjoy the better-than-aircon breeze. =)

reached First World at 7 plus in the evening, and went for dinner!

the food here is freaking oily, dont ever try it. and their chilli sauce was served in a bowl if you noticed, damn kwa zhang.

woke up next morning with the mountain layers right outside my room. =) soooo stress-relieving to throw all the work aside and simply stare blankly at the wonders of nature!

den breakfast @ Bakery.

and everyone else went to the casino while i shopped around on my own and packed lunch back to my room. an anorexic Roti John for approx S$5! one of the most expensive food item i had there relative to its worth. but it was really quite good. a happy me with a satisfying Roti John. =)

watched the toy cars zoom past while devouring it down. can you spot them? =P

went Starbucks with my notebook for internet connection to chat with Somebody & download drama episodes. the 2 hours i sat there was how long i froze in the blowing wind & breathed in 2nd hand smoke. but it's all worth it. =)

den when night fell, everyone gathered again for dinner at a Chinese restaurant at Hotel Highlands. hahaha we are so military life-styled!

3rd morning's breakfast was traditional, with Teh Tarik, toasted bread & soft-boiled eggs, albeit served in styrofoam bowls. -.-"

guess what? the temperature that morning up in the mountains was a freaking 27 deg C! i swore i was sweating a little while shopping around.

then it was lunch at KFC. what's with the raves on the KFC there? i dont find it nice lehh. was dabbing the glistening oil off the chicken with the serviette. =X

and it was byebye to the mountains!

we were bloody stuck at the M'sian customs for 2 hours just to move 50 metres, all thanks to their hardworking & efficient employees. 1 lane which was supposed to lead to 12 counters had only 3 counters open. where the hell the other 9 operators were on a Sunday night remains a mystery to me.

i'd seriously avoid visiting Malaysia if i could. sooooo bloody pissed off when i was stuck right there in the jam, knowing i would have reached Singapore eons ago if i had walked instead.

but anyway that's all for the Genting trip with the Yeos. =D as you can see, i eat like a glutton for every meal when im there, but i just dont know where all the nutrients went to. ohwell. and i came back with bags of purchases again.

im such a Malaysian at heart.
