it was raining quite heavily when it was time to leave house for the ultrasound scan appointment at Mount A. luckily Mr Tan took half-day leave so i didnt had to go alone. =)

it's similar to the usual ultrasound scan at the gynae, except this is a little more high-tech and precise. the Filipino radiographer was nice & friendly, but it gave me a freaking hard time. 

Ms Radiographer was trying to locate its body parts & organs, like umbilical cord, kidneys, nose, etc. it was moving about vigorously so she couldnt get a good shot. and when she wanted it to turn left, it turned right. wanted it to face down, it faced up. since it refused to turn, Mummy Min had to turn instead. i had to turn left and right and hold the position and it was sooo tiring. when we saw its face, it used its arm to cover its face, leaving only the nose & lips. when it finally stopped wriggling, we saw the reason why. it was sucking on its thumb happily. shiok~

Ms Radiographer was getting exasperated and said, "your baby very active & naughty ah, cannot stop moving."

sighs.

finally the scan was done. and when we came out of the room, i told Mr Tan, "i cant wait to go home and give it a good beating poking for being so mischievous."

he replied, "if you're lying there naked and suddenly someone comes into the room wanting to take pictures of you, wouldnt you squirm and try to hide from the camera too?"

so ever-doting Daddy saves the day again.

after that, we dropped by Vivocity to collect our wedding bands. finally got them on the 3rd trip cos of Mr Tan's fat water-retentive fingers. his ring in the size we ordered 2 months ago could barely fit anymore, so had to place an order for a new ring in 1 size bigger and it will only arrive in July. in the meantime, we have a pair for show for ROM. phew.

i just got my ROM dress last weekend, while Mr Tan havent gotten his black pants. and the day is in less than 2 weeks' time. i was thinking we must be the most slacked couple for ROM preparations. then again, it might be a good thing in our case. take the wedding bands issue for example. now that im doing some laundry occasionally AND that im preggy, it's likely my fingers will expand and not fit into the ring anymore if i got it too early. no idea why Mr Tan is the one with expanding fingers though.

didnt get to see Rayden last weekend, cos my parents are off to Genting (yes, again) to relax. Mom has been uber stressed over my Da Sao's 做月 and taking care of Rayden, so she couldnt wait to RUN away from home when he turned 1 month old. will take some pics of pretty Rayden when im home next time! if i can recognise him, that is.
