updates on the Solemnisation! but first is the Statutory Declaration few days before the actual Solemnisation.

got to make a trip down and confirm your particulars, raise your right hand and recite some lines to the guy to swear that the information provided is true, and sign on the paper. that's all.

our appointment was 930-1030am. i went there thinking there will only be few people hanging around, but i was so wrong. the room was flooded when we reached. didnt know there are so many people getting married in Singapore!!

had to take a queue number like in polyclinics.

while we were waiting for our turn, i observed other couples.

1st was a very young couple. the girl was barely 19 years old and her parents had to sign to consent to the marriage, while her hubby was still serving NS and was using 11B instead of his pink I/C. nothing amazing, except that their kid is older than Rayden. -.-" that moment, i felt so old.

then there was a Caucasian guy-SG girl couple & an Indian guy-SG girl couple. inter-racial marriages are so common now, cool!

contrary to what i had in mind, most of the couples there were really young, about my age or just a couple of years older. who said Singaporeans are marrying later and later?!

then comes the day for Solemnisation.

Mr Tan went without a blazer & tie, while i went without makeup & bouquet. totally slacked. hahaha.

and it just had to start pouring when it was time to leave house. luckily my Dad fetched us there.

got to scan your I/C upon reaching to register your arrival, then wait for your turn.

not bad right, going for Solemnisation in 5 mins still got time to snap around the place.

and we purposely booked the last slot, and indeed we were the last couple of the day! no other couple's names after ours.

then we went in and parrot the Solemniser for the Oath, exchanged rings, and Mr Tan gave me a peck on the cheek. what's horrible was that the Oath was in Mandarin and i couldnt register what i was saying actually. but it doesnt matter, just follow after her will do.

then, we're done! =D

the shot with all 9 people who were present is not with me. =( so these are all i have to share!

then it was Rayden's feeding time so we all waited for him to finish his milk.

and Rayden in Mother Tan's arms, his face blur as ever. she couldnt resist carrying him too!

then we all went for dinner together after that. yummy food makes me happy! =)

and that marked the end of the day. shall end off with an arty shot by my Kor, hahaha.

WE ARE OFFICIALLY MARRIED!
