visited Mr Gynae yesterday evening. my weight dropped from 49.5 kg to 49.4 kg, and Baby Tan's from 2.4 kg to 2.3 kg. either one of us lost that precious 100 grams. must be her la, kept practising her punches and kicks till she lost weight.

luckily Mr Gynae did not suggest to induce Baby Tan. i read that some gynaes do suggest inducing the kid when there's no weight gain towards the end of the term, in case the kid is not receiving nutrients from mom anymore. i do not want Baby Tan to be induced, because the birthing process will be more traumatic for her than her choosing to face the world when she is ready. the inducing pains will be greater for me too.

Baby Tan will be staying at where she is for the time being. just 1 more week to full-term! 

Mr Gynae was doing the ultrascan and he commented that Baby Tan is kind of "smallish". my 1st thought was: is "smallish" an English word?

a quick check on dictionary.com shows that it is! i learned a new word from him. cool.

so i reckon Baby Tan will be a smallish baby and her birth weight shouldnt be too far from 2.4 kg. sighs, that is really light. probably cos i dont have much appetite these days, and my mood is really down in the dumps. 

last night i laid on the bed and i was feeling so upset and confused over NOTHING. the feeling was overwhelming and i felt like im going into the depression mode again like couple of months ago. then i started crying and crying. Baby Tan is not even here and im getting the baby blues. oh dear. Mr Tan suggested i think of happy thoughts. so..... i picked up Baby Tan's tiny clothes again.

it works. =)
