today, a historical moment took place in my life.

i had soft-boiled eggs for breakfast. the first time in 8 holy months.

thank you for all your heartfelt congratulations. i felt it. ♥

and i wanted to drink milk tea badly but caffeine can pass through breastmilk and may make baby irritable or fussy, so i decided to hold it. at least till Baby Shanice is older and less sensitive to caffeine. i had never tried Koi milk tea that everyone had been raving about for the past months! shall try a few sips of it when i get the chance.

i think the body changes during and after pregnancy are so amazing.

i started swelling & swelling close to the end of the term from fats & water retention. even my nose got bigger by the day. previously whenever i drop by my place on sat afternoons, the 1st thing my mom would say was, "why your nose so big?" initially i thought she was just being irritating, until i took a closer look at photos of myself and i realised my nose indeed grew larger! my nose actually grew f a t. -.-" then 2 days after delivery, i took another photo of myself and i saw my nose has shrinked.

maybe a bigger nose is a symptom of pregnancy...?

and during pregnancy the ligaments will be loosened by the hormone relaxin, and that's one of the reasons why my wedding ring couldnt fit anymore in the last month, on top of the annoying water retention. 

i tried the ring on last week and it was still as tight on my finger as during the pregnancy days. i tried it on again yesterday, and amazingly it can fit again!

it's like i have body parts of a different size every day.

but i still dont have the guts to try on my old jeans. maybe next week ba, wish me luck.
