so as i was saying, i met up with stephie for dinner and also to pass her her birthday present. her birthday is 10 months later was 2 months ago. hahaha! no choice la, handmade present from a busy mom is like that.

and where else to go but the hottest spot in SG now, NEX @ serangoon! orchard is so passe.

and the main guys of the night - the food.

the veggies in the salad amounted to a mini garden so it's bad news for ardent meat lovers like us. other than that, the food was nicely presented and served.

majority of the other guests were there for their steaks though. every other moment a table would be served with a steak flamed with brandy. for girls with long fringes or eyelashes, beware! they could be sacrificed for the sake of your steak.

we moved to Starbucks after dinner for a quieter moment.

and finally, her present!

sooo glad my honey loves it! the shootbird eyes was worth it. =D
